State’s families, communities, businesses will benefit from affordable, reliable, clean energy
Lansing, Mich. — Citizens for Michigan’s Energy Future (CMEF) issued the following statement after Gov. Rick Snyder today signed key energy legislation, Senate Bills 437 and 438, into law:
“Today’s bill signing enacts comprehensive Michigan-first energy policy and is a crucial and much-needed investment in our energy future and infrastructure. This action helps ensure Michigan families, communities and businesses have the affordable, reliable and clean energy they need to power their homes and lives, and grow our economy.
“CMEF commends and salutes lawmakers from both chambers and both sides of the aisle, and the Governor and his administration for their hard work and steadfast leadership on crafting this strong, bipartisan policy needed to control our energy future now and in the years to come.”
